Historical Pedigree: Ch. Bethway's Tony

Son of the founding bitch for Bethway, Tony was a singleton puppy bred in 1960 with an inbreeding coefficient of 21.5%, Tony was the only American grandson of Ch. Waveney Valley Alder and the sire of 5 Bethway Champions. None of the 7 half siblings on his sire's side (6 of the 7 carried the River Bend prefix) earned a title, but 4 of his maternal half siblings earned a title, all carrying the Bethway prefix. He was bred 10 times, 5 to Ch. Bethway's Scarlet, a union producing 4 champions out of 7 puppies. The remaining champion get was attributed to Wensum Tinker Bell.
