Bred in 1948 with an inbreeding coefficient of 22.3% Dixy had one littermate but no full siblings. She had 34 half siblings on her sire's side and 2 on her dam's side with no champions as half siblings. She was bred 4 times, all to Colonsay dogs (two of which were champions), with a total of 11 get. Dixy was the 16th recorded champion of record but produced no champions.
