Historical Pedigree: King's Prevention Belinda

Bred in 1977 by Constance S. Larrabee of King's Prevention Kennels and owned by Linda Plummer of Springfield, VA, Belinda had an inbreeding coefficient of 21.6% as a singleton puppy with no full siblings. She had one champion among the 7 paternal half siblings and her one champion among the 6 maternal half siblings was the significant Ch. King's Prevention Ahoy. Bred only 3 times (twice to Ch. Elve Pure Magic and once to Seneca Valley Pooh) Belinda produced a total of 3 puppies, none of which earned their title. From Sheila Foran, "... Belinda could ... and often did ... make a perfect impression of a Norwich.  Her ears were often straight up ... unless she wanted to drop them. The funny thing about Belinda is ... the first time I met Linda and Ed Plummer they invited me to their house and I kept counting an 'extra' Norwich ... and losing sight of the Norfolk.  I finally realized the 'ear thing' ... In any case, she was a wonderful dog for the Plummers."
