Imported by Henry D. Bixby and bred by Mrs. E. Mainwaring in England, Mark was born in 1935. He was described as a light red with dark hairs on his back, a bit big with one drop ear and one erect ear and was not shown.. He had one littermate that did not earn his championship and no full siblings. Though there were no half siblings on his dam's side and there was one champion among the 8 half siblings on his sire's side. He hinself had an inbreeding coefficient of only 9.8% and was bred only twice producing 4 puppies in each litter. One of the bitches he was bred to, Ch. Merry of Beaufin, produced his only champion get with a litter of mostly prick ears. Note the mixed ear carriage in this pedigree.
