Historical Pedigree: Mt. Paul Tulip

A red bitch, Tulip was born in 1972 with two littermates and though none of her litter finished their championship, she had 1 full Mt. Paul sibling that did. Of the 35 half siblings on her sire's side 5 completed their titles. There were no half siblings on her dam's side. Bred once to Ch. Ickworth Red Fox Phillip she produced a litter of three, one of which earned his title. A difficult bitch to breed, Tuplip was once bred to Ch. Badgewood Monty Collins she whelped 6 days early and lost the litter. Tulip was bred and owned by Mrs. John Winston of Mt. Paul Farm. In 1974 (when the Norwich and Norfolk Terrier Club Maplehurst cup was first awarded for most POINTS from the Bred-By-Exhibitor class in a club year) the winner was Anne Winston with Tulip.
