Historical Pedigree: Porky

With an inbreeding coefficient of only 3.1% Porky was bred in 1935 by W.E. West of England and owned by Mrs. Alice T. McLean, Porky was recorded as a fawn dog with 2 littermates and no full siblings. Neither he nor his littermates completed their championship titles. Notable is that Porky was parented by prick eared Norwich and though we lack the ear carriage history behind her sire and dam, it would be of interest to know which of her ancestors were drop eared. None of the 58 half siblings on his sire's side completed their title but one of the 8 half siblings on his dam's side did earn his title. Porky was bred only twice producing a total of 4 get, none of which earned their titles.
