Historical Pedigree: Eng. Am. Ch. Ragus Pass The Buck

Although Pass The Buck was bred later in our breed history in 1984, he was a sigifnicant sire in the US and had an inbreeding coefficient of 35.8%. He himself was a singleton puppy with 4 full siblings, none of whom were champions. His sire was prolific with 128 progeny, only 6 of which completed their titles (among them Eng. Ch. Ragus Bantum Cock). He had 2 half siblings on his dam's side, one of which was a champion. Pass The Buck was bred 38 times producing 68 offspring for 14 champion get. A number of American lines are directly descended from him. A particularly succesful combination was the 4 breedings to Ch. Jal-Mar Kelly of Kellane producing 4 champions out of 7 get. Other than the repeat breedings to Kelly Pass The Buck was bred to a wide variety of bitches proving the admiration of many breeders.
