Historical Pedigree: Tibbie Of Esk

Tibbie was bred in 1935 by C.W. Plaice of England and owned by Mary Mellon. She was recorded as a red bitch and had an inbreeding coefficient of 12.5%, high for her time. She was tightly bred back to Horstead Mick, a significant sire of the time. She had 1 littermate and no full siblings, and neither she nor her littermate completed their championships. There were no half siblings on her sire's side and of the 18 on her dam's side non earned their championship. She was bred one time to a non-champion male producing two non-champion offspring. *UNAWIN does not appear to be documented in the UK stud books but is shown as the sire of Flame in the AKC Register of December 1st, 1937.
