Bred in 1934 with an inbreeding coefficient of 25.4% Sport enjoys his place in history as the first Norwich Terrier to be registered by AKC in 1936. Bred by Lady Maureen Stanley and imported by Mrs. G.G. Massey, Sport had 1 littermate and 1 full sibling, neither of which achieved their championship. There were no half siblings on his sire's or dam's side. He was bred 4 times (once to Ch. Merry Of Beaufin) to produce 9 get, none achieving their championship. He was described as a large, short coated dog with wonderful ear carriage and disposition. It was said that no Massey dog ever exceeded 12 pounds.
